This website (Titas & Sukanya) is a purely personal project created to celebrate our wedding. It serves as a digital invitation, information hub, and interactive guestbook. It is not a commercial product, and we do not sell or trade user data.

A. Personal Information
When you interact with features like the Guestbook or RSVP (if applicable), we may collect:
- Names: To identify who is posting or wishing us.
- Messages: The text content of your wishes or comments.
- Photos: Images you upload to the guestbook.
B. Biometric Data (Face Recognition)
The "Find My Face" feature uses client-side and server-side logic to help you find photos of yourself.
- Collection: When you upload a photo, our system detects faces and creates a "face descriptor" — a string of 128 numbers representing facial landmarks.
- Usage: These numbers are used solely to mathematically compare faces. We cannot reconstruct your actual face image from these numbers.
- Storage: These descriptors are stored in our secure database (Firebase) alongside the photo reference.
3. Third-Party Data Processors
We rely on trusted third-party infrastructure to run this site. We do not host our own physical servers. Here is exactly what each provider handles:
Google Firebase
Purpose: Database & Authentication.
- Stores text data (wishes, comments).
- Stores face descriptors (for search).
- Manages secure login sessions.

Cloudinary
Purpose: Image Hosting & Optimization.
- Stores the actual image files you upload.
- Optimizes images for faster loading.
- Delivers images via Content Delivery Network (CDN).

4. Cookies & Local Storage
We are minimalists. We do not use tracking pixels, advertising cookies, or analytics that follow you across the web.
Strictly Necessary Storage:
- theme: Saves your preference for Light or Dark mode.
- firebase:authUser: Keeps you logged in so you don't have to sign in every time you refresh.
5. Your Rights & Control
You own your data. At any point, you have the absolute right to:
- Ask what data we have about you.
- Request deletion of specific photos.
- Request complete removal of your face data (descriptors) from our system.
